I wanted to like it. Packaging is good, size is good, price is good. Unfortunately it left my hair heavy with a residue. I don't think the adjustment period story is real. I've been using a shampoo bar from a company twice as expensive but haven't had any residue. I didn't have residue from day 1. Maybe thats why it cost more and this one is cheaper. I won't be using it again, unfortunately. It also smelled unpleasant.
The Peppermint shampoo bar is amazing - I love the fresh feeling, and my hair stays clean for days. Energizing and clean-feeling, with plenty of fullness and body.
Not only is the peppermint scent invigorating the soap bar keeps my hair nice and full instead of flat and lifeless like OTC shampoos in local big box stores. I love the fact that these soaps also come in biodegradable packaging. ❤️❤️❤️
I wanted a shampoo bar that didn't have all of the chemical garbage in it, smelled and foamed well and, of course, eliminated the plastic packaging. This one fits the bill. However, I have very fine hair and since menopause, not much of it, so this bar gives my hair an greasy appearance. Darnnit! I bought it to go traveling with so now I have to try and find something else. I am going to give this one to my friend who has thick, coarse hair and I think she will love it.
PS After writing this review I began to read the other reviews and realized that there is a transition period that people refer to. Since I only wash my hair once/week I have not used it enough to complete that time. So I am not going to be hasty, I will be patient and give it some more time.
