It restores your skin’s pH balance and provides natural exfoliation. Bergamot Essential Oil: Promotes skin cell turnover, making it excellent at fading post-acne marks, speeding up the healing time after a breakout, and evening skin complexion

How often can I use a clay mask?
Depending on your skin type 1-2x week. If you use it more frequently, don’t let it completely dry on your face.
What happens if I leave the clay mask on too long?
The clay will dry out your skin and cause redness. Make sure to wash the mask off before it gets flaky.
Do clay masks exfoliate?
Mud masks exfoliate by tightening as they dry, allowing dead skin cells to stick to the surface of the mask. The dead skin is then washed or wiped away upon removal of the mask.
What should I put on after using a clay mask?
Moisturizing after using a clay mask is important! Clays absorb excess oils, so using a moisturizer like a face oil is great for restoring some of the healthy oils your skin needs
First of all I do really like this mask- it smells great and my skin feels super soft afterwards. However I end up wasting so much of it because it needs a decent amount of water to mix and a only thin layer is going to dry in 15mins. Unless I missed some special instructions on how to mix it properly, even 1 tsp is a bit too much for my whole face! The good news is this face mask should last me a year at this rate which is a great value!
Really love using this, the scrub is just enough and the moisturizing is awesome! Purchased a few more for gifts :)
Well first of all... Definitely follow the time recommendation. I left my mask on too long and my face was red as a cherry! It also felt like my blood was being pulled to the surface of my skin - I could feel my pulse in my face! (This may have been around the 20 min mark). I followed up with some calendula oil and the redness was gone by morning (I did the mask before bed). When I did catch a glimpse of myself in the morning, I had to do a double take... My skin was GLOWING! It looked bright, clear and so fresh! My cheeks even had a light pink glow to them. This stuff works great! It will last a very long time, too. The first time I mixed a little too much - I would say start out with a small amount and mix some more up if needed. I did not need the recommended amount to cover my face. Also - don't be lazy and mix it in the palm of your hand, it's a pain to do so and hard to get it all off your hand and onto your face. This mask has already become a staple in my self-care routine and I will definitely be purchasing it again.
I recently purchased this new mask, and I can honestly say that I love it. It has been clearing my skin as well as tightening my pores, and keeping my skin hydrated. Thank you, Yellow Bird!!
A little product goes a long way. Skin felt great afterwards!
