Yes — when applied every 3–4 hours as directed. Our formula uses 5 essential oils at 35% concentration, which works by masking the scents that attract mosquitoes and other insects. It won't last 8 hours like some chemical repellents, but it works without the safety concerns that come with DEET.

Our formula contains Cedarwood Oil, which has shown promising evidence in research for deterring ticks — it's one of the reasons we included it in our 5-oil blend. We also use Geranium Oil, another botanical that has been studied for tick-repelling properties. That said, for tick protection we always recommend pairing any repellent with physical barriers: wear long sleeves and pants, tuck your socks over your cuffs, and do a thorough tick check after time in wooded or grassy areas. Used together, our spray and smart layering give you a solid natural defense without any harsh chemicals.
